I met my partner on Tinder and HATE that we met that way! I was separated and looking for someone to flirt with. He and I chatted via e mail, met for coffee a couple of weeks later, then fell head over heels.
He told me earlier that he'll ask me to marry him once I'm divorced. Feeling happy, content and want to hear other peoples romantic stories.

We met at infants school and grew up together best of friends. We started seeing each other when we were 15 and have been together almost 10 years now! We used to say when we were younger we'd have been together 15 years when we're 30- a house and a baby later, it's not as far away as we used to think it would be!Grin

He was my barrister defending me on a drugs charge (highly unethical and he should have been struck off)

Ours is fairly romantic - I work in a theatre and he used to be an actor. We met when he was performing in Romeo and Juliet there (he wasn't Romeo though!)

I went to stay with friends for a few days and we all went to a barbecue another friend was having.

Married that other friend a year later.

In a nightclub, which is now closed down. I poured Cherry VK all down his white t shirt.

We were in the same year at school but we were both so dorky we didn't really speak to each other anyone

When I was fifteen and he was eighteen he was going out with my best friend's older sister. I didn't know him well (age gap is massive at that age) but knew him well enough to recognise him ten years later when a friend of mine looked across a pub to comment on the drop dead gorgeous man who had just walked in.

We chatted a bit, we had both just moved to the area and were bored and a bit lonely so I suggested we meet up for coffee the next day. We met up at 2 pm. Twelve hours later when we were wandering around Oxford trying to think of new places we could go and talk we realized we had a bit of a spark. Eleven years on, still together.

At a running club. We had known each other for about a year already but then DP iMessaged me to ask if I would like to walk to a 10k race together, we chatted loads and it led to a date. The rest is history.

Worked together in the same shopping mall whilst at uni. Used to make silly excuses to go and visit each other (pretending to need change usually!). Ended up working and living in Japan together as friends. Came home and at the airport he said he'd miss living with me so much, would I consider moving in with him in the UK? I laughed and he said that was a shame because he'd fallen in love with me. 8 years on, married, 9 month old baby, he's still a total romantic.
