Dd2 is five months. Dp and i have had sex a couple of times to test the waters. Really want to again as does OH but parenthood is conspiring against us!

When did it resume for you guys? Or perhaps it didn't... Shock

I was incredibly horny after having baby, my hormones went mental. I had a natural deliver, no tears or anything and only bled for 10 days but still I think we waited about 3 weeks.

Bad news is that sex life never went back to pre-baby (although pre-baby we were TTC for a whole so it was an overinflated amount of sex)

Got pregnant the second time after having sex once that cycle !!!

Two weeks. Was very keen to find out if everything still worked. Grin

10 days (gently) after an EMCS

It didn't

2 weeks ... and straight back into the normal routine - 3/4 times a week. We went gently the first few times and i was never sore. I was struggling to wait that long tbh. V.high sex drive.

I was lucky, no stitches and only a tiny tear which felt fine after 5 or 6 days.

Several months after dd1's birth. I'd had a long labour/pushing phase then an episiotomy. It hurt too much before then for regular sex.

I had an ELCS for dd2 and we were back to having regular sex after a couple of months. It got back to normal quite quickly again after her birth.
