I am really upset. For the second time in less than a few weeks my dh has got really angry in bed last time he wacked his head against the metal bedframe tonight he shook it and almost broke the headboard.
Maybe discussing house maintenance late was a bad move but i feel he is depriving us of doing maintence it took five years to change the fucking front door Money isnt an issue he is paid well.he is just blind to diy things but wont let me take charge.
i know i have posted many times before but i am sat here crying and have told him because its a second time he has been aggressive in bed this time i will be leaving as its not normal behaviour. He said during the argument i have changed and he doesnt know who i am anymore and to fuck off :(. I am down in the lounge now as have a dd and cant just up and leave now. I will be going into some estate agents though tomorrow because i cant keep doing this. I dont care what church say anymore. I am unhappy and not in a valued relationship anymore.:(

Sometimes you can confide in PILs and they are a good support. In this situation, after what she said to you, do not confide anymore. No surprises that he thinks this behaviour is acceptable.

Thank you for your lovely comments. Made me cry. Yes i could not believe it when he did that on headboard hes wasnt even drunk and behaving this way is even more worrying as normally people like that are driven to do those things when drunk.
Its draining all my energy and i am wondering if its why i have lost so much weight recently all this stress.

Wonder no more. It is absolutely why you are losing weight. I know it's hard but you do have to eat and keep your energy up. Think about it as feeding your brain because you don't make the best decisions when you deprive yourself of food.

MIL was doing the classic blameshifting/denial thing. Your H has probably said in the past,“If you did what I told you to do/didn't keep nagging, then I wouldn’t have been angry.” “

Have a look at the website www.womensaid.org.uk and read about staying safe online ie your internet history.

He's their son. Whether he's married or single, good or bad, right or wrong, he'll always be their son so the ILs will always be on his side. Partners come and go... DCs are for ever.

ROUNDandROUNDINCIRCILESMORETHA · 10/07/2014 11:36

Yes. She is obssessed though he's such a mummys boy.

That's their family dynamic and for them to deal with the fall-out. You're going to be an independent woman.... you decide your own family dynamic now.

Thanks Cogito. X

Good luck my love.

I feel so angry that the Church has let you down. Please find a different congregation to join.

After you've left this man, obviously.

And most importantly, don't let anyone try and pressure you into staying or going back.
