I want to keep a journal but worry about it

I want to start keeping a journal (for venting and getting things off my chest really) but I am worried someone may find it. I do like to handwrite this kind of thing and don't want to do it online. Is there a solution? I have a day to day diary where I record what I do each day but I don't want my rantings to go in there.

No to paper lock and key jobbie - I had one as q teen, lost key and opened w hair clip in less than 60 seconds - no wonder my sister always knew who I fancied!

With the Kindle/Ipad I meant you could use a stylus - so you'd be hand writing it, just not with a pen. Different apps can keep the notes as handwritten or convert to text. I've never got on with doing that but I've seen other people taking notes that way.

I don't find it less satisfying to keep a journal digitally though it is different. But for me, it would be a choice between doing it digitally or not at all - I'd not feel comfortable even with a lockable diary, as pp said it's far too easy to get inside!
