Ex has just sent weird confessional text

Just wanted to out this before work

Ex of one year has just sent a text confessing to snogging two women we work with whilst I was pregnant.

I don't know why I am so cross as I ended the relationship because of his weird behaviour whilst pg and having new baby.

I just feel mad at the two women they knew I was pregnant - who does that?

I feel mad at him as he has spent the last year sending me vile texts on a weekly basis and blaming relationship end on me and accusing me of cheating.

I haven't responded to text but I feel like kicking ass Jeremy Kyle style........I won't........must rise above.

Ignore it and rise above.

Sounds a bit attention seeking to me.

pipsy76 · 11/06/2014 06:52

Well done for not responding, maintain your dignified silence ( he's after a rise from you hence the inflammatory texts)

Keep being the strong person you obviously areThanks

Walkacrossthesand · 11/06/2014 06:54

It sounds to me like he's trying to get a rise out of you - he's spent a year ( a year!) needling you with unpleasant texts, it clearly hasn't given him the satisfaction he wants, so now he's trying the 'I snogged/shagged someone else, so there' line. Playground stuff.

Have you had to have contact at hand overs throughout the year? How has that gone?

Dinnaeknowshitfromclay · 11/06/2014 06:56

Ignore ignore ignore. Proof, if it were needed, that you have done the right thing in dumping him.

oohdaddypig · 11/06/2014 06:58

What walkacrosstgesand said. Sounds like he can't handle how well you have coped. Don't fall for his games now.

Ps sounds like you made the right decision!

Pagwatch · 11/06/2014 06:59

Yes yes, well done for ignoring.
He sounds incredibly attention seeking. Bear in mind you only have his word for it.
I was once in a lift with a senior work collegue who was married but also shagging my friend (long story). We'd been on a client lunch. He suddenly lunged at me and tried to snog me. I pushed him off and, bizarrely, roared with laughter.
I didn't fancy him in the slightest, would never screw around with a married man or my mates boyfriend so a man who was both was not remotely interesting.
He then told my friend that we 'kissed'
I still don't really understand it but he was trying to create jealousy or something. Very odd.

Pagwatch · 11/06/2014 07:00

That was awfully waffly.
I'm trying to say that you shoukdn't give it any head space because he may have very odd reasons for sending the text and you can't trust the truth of what he says.

AnyFucker · 11/06/2014 07:03

Ignore

Delphinegreen · 11/06/2014 07:10

Yes you are all right. Ignore. It is attention seeking and probably not true or skewed truth.
I see these women at work but I don't think I'll mention it, little point really.
