to wonder why dd sleepwalks unless she has a late night?

Dd is 6 and has boundless energy. She walks to and from school which covers several miles, goes to the park or sports activities after school then apart from when she's eating and reading usually trampolines until bedtime. I aim for 8.30 bedtime but with the weather being nicer it's ended up being more like 9.30-9.45 recently. She then sleeps perfectly until 7.45.

However, when I get her to bed earlier (tonight was 8.40) she's up within an hour or two sleepwalking. I worry she doesn't get enough sleep with the later bedtime, though she never shows signs of tiredness, but if I get her to bed early she actually ends up having a more disturbed night because of the sleepwalking. Can anyone shed any light on this mystery for me?!

Its all to do with sleep cycles, but you'd be better off posting in development tbh.

Oops, was supposed to be in sleep rather than relationships!
