Some lighthearted fun ... April Fools' prank for a date?

So, I had a first date last night, chemistry was great and a second date was mentioned. April Fool's today so I thought I would send him a prank text this morning... maybe declaring my undying love and intentions to move in together next week? Wink Any better ideas?!

Er I wouldn't play an April fool's joke on someoni had just met. But I hate being the butt of someone's joke, which is why I dislike April fools.

BeforeAndAfter · 01/04/2014 08:03

Not after one date. If I were him I'd have a sense of humour failure I'm afraid...

Logg1e · 01/04/2014 08:06

Yeah, do that OP I think that's a great idea, it'll be so funny.

DrinkFeckArseGirls · 01/04/2014 08:07

And then come and tell us how there no second date...

Cabrinha · 01/04/2014 08:08

A joke is fine, but NOT that!
I'd think, crazy clingy woman hiding behind a joke. It's just not funny, because some people are that psycho!!!

Logg1e · 01/04/2014 08:10

Definitely do it by text, not face-to-face.

Aknowinggrin · 01/04/2014 08:11

Mmm.. really? I thought it would be so outlandish and ridiculous after just one date that no one could possibly take it seriously! Good thing I posted here first Hmm

Shit! Just got taken in for the second time this morning and that's just in MNHmmConfused

HyvaPaiva · 01/04/2014 08:21

I wouldn't. It sounds like an unhinged person masquerading as a joker.

I know you are joking but the seeds of doubt could make it backfire.

'Always a grain of truth in a "joke"' could be his reaction.

I cringed reading it, sorry OP.

Logg1e · 01/04/2014 08:24

Go for it, it shows what a wacky, zany kinda person you are.

DrinkFeckArseGirls · 01/04/2014 08:28

Oh FFS, so is it a joke or not .

Aknowinggrin · 01/04/2014 08:36

Well Drink it WAS a joke .... to him Wink but thinking I'll refrain!

OP posts:
LoisPuddingLane · 01/04/2014 09:17

A lot of people don't like "pranks". It would be a bit risky, after one date.

SisterEmily · 01/04/2014 09:35

I wouldn't, he might think you're being serious and assume you're a bunny boiler and then pretending it's an april fool joke to save face.

Aknowinggrin · 01/04/2014 09:51

Thank you all. Definitely NOT sending anything to him!

Saved by MM.... Wink

I hate pranks so if a guy I had had one date with tried a prank I'd bin him off immediately.
