Oh. I was thinking it meant something rude to do with your boobs (in a sideways way).

Is it bad that I'm disappointed? Grin

nomorebooze · 26/02/2014 12:54

How lovely!
can you tell him later that you had to go on the internet to translate his message........surely it will produce a giggle? I take it he already knows your not up to speed with shortened texts:)

LineRunner · 26/02/2014 21:17

He really said, 'I am disappointed with your response to my text'?

Logg1e · 26/02/2014 21:55

Not half as disappointed as I'd be if somebody resorted to texting to tell me they loved me and resorted to using, well, whatever illiterate nonsense that is.

NotNewButNameChanged · 27/02/2014 08:28

How old are you both, 15? Ridiculous if you're grown adults.

BitOutOfPractice · 27/02/2014 08:32

A. They might be 15 for all you know
B. lighten up!

BitOutOfPractice · 27/02/2014 08:34

Fwiw my bf told me he lived me for the first time by text. He was drunk on a train (classy eh?) and was trying to ring me because he had a sudden urge to tell me. I was on the phone to my sister. So he texted "do you realise I'm madly in love with you?" Or something like that (we don't do txt spk). I thought it was lovely.

And yes, I'm older than 15 by 30 years

NotNewButNameChanged · 27/02/2014 08:36

Bit as they spend more or less every night together, I very much doubt they are 15!

I just think it really sad that in this day and age someone can't just use the word LOVE. Preferably by saying it to someone's face if they've been together a few months and spending almost every night together. God, 20 years ago, this guy would probably have taken a year to actually get up the nerves to say it. How did people cope before texting?? At least he could actually have texted the word LOVE rather than using a silly symbol. Sorry, I think it just makes it mean nothing if you can't actually be bothered to say it properly.

BitOutOfPractice · 27/02/2014 10:46

Maybe he was nervous to say it "properly". Maybe they don't have to conduct their relationship according to your expectations?
