Just that really!
I hate Valentines day but as its our first feel like i should make at least some effort but its so hard to find something thats not cheesy!
Cooking a nice meal is out the question but we will be having a night in.
Anyone any ideas?

MY DP is working away for seven weeks so I won't see him for VD. I have arranged with one of his colleagues to get a big sticky chocolate cake he can share while telling them all how lovely I am!

That sounds more like birthday presents to me tbh.

12 bottles of real Ale from our local brewery for him, and the £20 meal deal from Waitrose (all Hestons brand) starter, main, pudding, bottle of fizz and chocs.

Neither of us really do Valentines so this suits us both.

First time I've ever done it this year, ordered flowers (She's never had them off me before!) bought perfume and a card. Nice meal in a restraunt I've always wanted to go visit on the saterday.

Best of all the grandparents have the kids saterday night!

The planets - sorry only just checked back . Did you find any if the cupcakes in m and s? I wonder if they are doing them. They were very cute. . The top is a Polo style top. I just thought he'd like it.

We both go a bit over the top with things. It probably does sound more like birthday stuff I know. I just like spoiling him really . I think probably nice food would be enough and card but didn't stick to it.

He got me Turkish delight. I hate the damn stuff and he knows it.

I gave it to my little ones Music with Mummy Time teacher as she had yet to receive anything off her hubby
