Am shocked. Are they allowed to come round without prior warning? Even if they come armed with a letter saying 'Apologies for being unable to see you as arranged, but I'm sending my colleague BLAH round instead'?

It was a DV incident about a month ago - some of you may recognise me, but now it seems they're turning the tables on me.

If you were a victim of DV and called the police - then the police automatically inform SS if there are children involved. It is usual for then SS to come around and make sure the children are fine.
