Literature on living with a victim of CA?

I'm currently going through counselling and dealing with child abuse I suffered as a teenager. I seperated from my XDH recently and have always felt he didn't really understand me.
Are there any books out there I could direct him too to maybe give him some insight?
I realise this maybe too late but we remain good friends...clutching at straws???

Be careful. It sounds like you may be acting out some abandonment issues.

Beverley Engels is good; you might try this book.

Someone on the Stately Homes threads read Strong at the Broken Places. You might find more recommendations on the threads - and more support :)

Don't expect your partner (or ex, or friends) to make you better. Only you can do that ... and you can do that!

Good luck x
