Feeling invisible .....wave at a mate!

Reprint · 22/10/2013 20:31

Following on from Trish's good idea (and by request) this thread is the place to play 'bag a buddy' 'wave at a mate' or 'grab someone else's grip for a minute'

The original idea from the invisble thread was that it would be a brilliant idea if people had a friend they could pair up with ....just so someone is going to wave at you when you feel down.
It needed a thread.
This is it .....................

I was on one of the AF threads last night and someone posted an obscene 'joke' about Madeline McCann, I wont repeat it but I was totally shocked

BOOsterseatforAnyFucker · 24/10/2013 13:54

hawkeye21 Waves! I like your NN.

Avengers? Or just really observant?

hawkeye21 · 24/10/2013 14:03

MASH. Not observant at all. The world just passes me by.

HaroldAnyLloydFUCKER · 24/10/2013 14:08

I agree!

I get involved in the odd thing. Like the baby jar thread, do I remember you from there 2tired?

I don't tend to have proper rucks as if someone is being a total arse I don't really care if they are judging something I'm doing.

I do like the more random arguments on AIBU when I found myself spending half an hour researching the salt content of quavers v toast to prove a point.

The boards are very het up today that's for sure. Shock At a MM joke I hope it didn't go unnoticed in there..

2tiredtoScare · 24/10/2013 14:13

That's me Harold we were fighting on the same side in Jargate.

That was soft play not serving toast to mini pearly whites wasn't it!

No it didn't go unnoticed, it couldn't it was singularly the worst thing I have ever seen on here

Ivedunnit · 24/10/2013 14:23

Oh I have been waved at !
Waves back at catamongthepigeons, booster , humpday, Any , trish and hawkeye ,!
Whew my arm is sore! Begone those bingo wings!
I was sorry to hear about AF she was one of the most prolific posters and always seemed to me IMHO to provide solid no nonsense advice!

Real apologies to everyone for just not being around

Manic client is ruining my working day by actually needing full attention.
Hmmph.
Back when I can!

Waves at idunnit!

Reprint that's terrible. Does this client not know that there is MNing to attend too? Tsk. Grin

EauPeanUpTheGatesOfHell · 24/10/2013 15:37

HUMP I like it, got a bloody ear worm now.
HESTER I'm heading your way, not quite so far west though, you have been warned Halloween Grin ......

EauPeanUpTheGatesOfHell · 24/10/2013 15:41

BOO I suppose it must be a bit odd for the 26yo as she had a DD of 6, so my Dd is 3 years younger than her neice Halloween Confused though the 20 and 17 year olds think it's way cool, even if they do get very bossed about Halloween Grin

HesterShaw · 24/10/2013 15:47

Eau, have you seen the weather forecast? ShockShockShock

You're not travelling on Sunday or Monday are you?

MrsCakesPremonition · 24/10/2013 15:48

Yeah - finely back. Today has been a good day Grin.
I have Golden Lyle Sticky Toffee Apple Cake to share Halloween Grin - spooky and sticky.

I have read many AF related posts and still have absolutely no idea what happened last night - this is what happens when I go to bed a proper time...

hawkeye21 · 24/10/2013 16:09

Sticky Toffee Apple Cake? Mmmmm.

Saw a thread yesterday about crumpets just as I was about to go to asda. As a result some 'fell' into my basket and I have been stuffing myself with them since. With tons of butter. Not healthy, not healthy at all.

Yes humpday , it is nice to have a crumpet to hold the slab of butter. Proper butter too, not this pretend to be butter but is really just margarine stuff.

Reprint · 24/10/2013 16:42

Definitely laughing here Humpday as I am about as un-pink-fluffy as a person can get .....and have actually managed to have a post deleted once (hangs head in shame) which is totally unlike me, but the person I replied to truly was an offensive goading troll who was deeply offending someone who needed support. That was my excuse anyway.
I rarely get cross, but when I do .... I am not quiet Blush

I think there are more than a couple of people who have popped in here, who are a bit the same way (if I am recognising names right)

So ....back to crumpets, then Grin

Hi everyone. I'm thanking my lucky stars that MIL is coming to stay (and that's a first, for us). I can kick back, enjoy the baby and no washing/cleaning/childcaring needs to be done.

Strident? Sounds cool. The most I've been described as is 'plump and tiny'. Hmm
