I am going to miss her very very much Sad Sad Sad.

Should I send her a card or something? I am terribly upset!

Is it too awkward to stay in touch?

Tricky.

Don't send a card, but do send a text letting her know you'd like to stay friends if it wouldn't be too awkward for you both.

Don't send a card, but a text and an offer for a coffee wine would be a nice gesture. You might realise with time that it's too awkward for you both to stay in touch (especially if one of them moves on quickly or an OW/OM emerges), but leaving a long-term relationship and suddenly having your "out laws" all evaporate can be quite a knock.

Just text her. I dumped my husband earlier this year. He told 4 mates on a night out and within a week 3 wives had texted to say they were sorry to hear it and not to lose touch. Unless it's over because she's done something awful, staying in touch is no biggie!
