Let's assume adult A works outside the house x hours per week (including commuting time.). Adult B works outside the house y hours per week (including commute).

Produce a formula for fair division of chores and childcare.Take into account the n nightly wake-up calls made by the youngest child and the m bottoms that need wiping daily. And the p episodes of toilet cleaning on a weekly basis.

I don't think there is a formula...especially when it comes to anything for the benefit of children...if it needs done, do it.

120-x=(m+p+n+c+f)/2

120-y=(m+p+n+c+f)/2

Where 120= weekly waking hours, c=chores, f=free time

But then maths was never my strong point Grin

Yikes. I'm no good at math, but maybe just try drawing up a chore chart and alternate each week as to who does what? Except when it comes to dc's. Ie: if there is a dirty diaper, don't just wait for DP to change it LOL
