If you were over 40 when you met your OH, how did you meet?

Just wondering/looking for inspiration. i'm dabbling in online dating after a few years of solitude/lone parenthood.

Another one to meet online. I was 40 and he was 46. Nearly 9 years later we've been married for 6 years and are going strong. It can work out - it was the first date either of us went on!

I have clearly been doing the wrong ad ed courses all these years.

People keep telling me to join a walking group - get some exercise, and you can talk without necessarily having to look someone in the eye all the time, as you're looking at where you're going, so it can be less intimidating to get conversation going.

I spotted him oggling my motorbike at a popular biker place. So I asked him if he fancied a ride! He's a biker too, and he said yes!

He kissed my sister in a pub twenty years ago.
