That's it really, u feel you see it happening, but told its innocent as he hasn't recognised it himself? So when does any form of flirting become ok because it's classed as ‘innocent’ ?

Innocent flirting, IMO, exchange of complements to make the other person smile, start a conversation, make the world a fun place to be.

Not so innocent flirting - to see how far you can get without committing.

Def not innocent flirting - exchange of complements to see how far you can throw yourself at the other person without actually doing the deed, esp if you have reason not to do it!
