I was with my husband in tesco the other dy and right I front of me he clearly checked out some girls arse! I looked at him with the look an he still looked at her! I said later on about it and he said "at least I'm not hiding the fact that I was looking at her" wtf? Nxt time I c a man I feel like clearly checking him out in front of my husband to see how he likes it.

I thought this was a lighthearted entry when I first read your OP.

Apologies and Thanks he is not very nice. A whole year?

This is no way of behaving to one's spouse.

raskolnikov · 07/12/2012 12:46

And now he's looking at other women in front of you after having admitted that doing so means he's thinking about it .... so he's baiting you?

For the most part, I would say that each partner checking out other people should be fine as long as its NOT suggestive of taking it further. Maybe he's trying to tell you something OP.

CogitOCrapNotMoreSprouts · 07/12/2012 12:46

"And it was my husband who said to me if your looking your thinking about it not me to him "

I realise that.... but it's unreasonable to think you can stop him looking or stop him thinking. That's a total non-starter.

raskolnikov · 07/12/2012 12:50

I agree with Frequent - I thought it was a lighthearted comment, but its clearly not. What do you get out of the relationship OP?

ClippedPhoenix · 07/12/2012 12:52

OP you have yourself a self entitled twunt there Sad

Jewson · 07/12/2012 13:02

Things have been great recently and he is being a great dad with r sons that's why it's just rattled me how he did this with me there and he saw me look at him yet carried on perving and yes Ino it's a natural thing to look but I agree it's a matter of respect I mean if I looked at some fella in that way in front of him he'd have somet to say he even said he thinks I fancy his mate cz I was laughing and talking to him ! I think he's the insecure one here!

But this isn't about one event in a supermarket. This is about a fairly long history of crappy behaviour which you thought had improved slightly but is now reverting to the usual crappiness. Work out what the real problem is here rather than fixating on an isolated incident.

Jewson · 07/12/2012 13:08

Sprouts the reason why I've said about the other stuff is coz other posters have asked if everything else ok so think before u write

The fact that he saw your hurt reaction yet carried on eyeing her up does show a lack of care towards how you feel imo.

It's nice that he's a great Dad to your dc's but how has your relationship been between the two of you recently, is he on meds for his depression?

Jewson · 07/12/2012 13:13

Our relationship has been fine and we've been in a really good place all things considered he has recently quit smoking and I honestly think his behaviour has changed since then as he gets moody easily now

CogitOCrapNotMoreSprouts · 07/12/2012 13:18

So there's nothing wrong at all? This whole thing was just a storm in a teacup? 'Easily moody' is OK for you?

Alibabaandthe40nappies · 07/12/2012 13:21

Bloody hell learn to punctuate.

He sounds a total arse. No-one who is a decent human ignores their pregnant wife for a year. Leave him.
