A positive post!

Yes, marriages have their ups and downs, but I thought I'd give you something nice to read (not that I am belittling what others might be going through).

It's jut that DH and I are on an up at the moment and thought I'd share my up with you, rather than a down :-)

I think you should be proud of yourselves, happy marriages take work and thought and give and take.
I have been with my DH forever nearly thirty years and its still lovely, it's not perfect but it's close enough for me. Smile

That's lovely frilly, congratulations. I am very pleased for you. I have been married 11 years now and love my DH more than ever. I wish you many more happy years together and hope you both cherish every good day you have together.

Long-term marriages do have their ups and downs. That is inevitable.

The downs are where you are working out the parameters and compromises. But you also work out how much you actually love each other.

A great marriage is worth working for.

Indeed they do take a lot of work. DH and I have certainly had out fair share of downs! Oh the stories I could tell Wink
