Bit of a personal question

Can I just ask, when having sex with your partner can you feel him inside all the way around? I can't and have started to think I'm a bit loose down there? He has assured me it still feels the same after dc3 20 months ago but recently our sex life has dwindled to practically nothing and when we do have it after I have orgasmed he always asks if I can finish him off by oral which makes me think that to him it feels like throwing a welly down the Mersey tunnel Sad

Might be your pelvic floor! Try this

Pricey but changed my vagina tightness forever :)

SoleSource · 14/07/2012 13:59

You may find your sex life is less satisfying for both you and your partner or that you have diminished sensation. The Athena can help.

slowlygoingbonkers · 14/07/2012 14:15

Thanks. Will have to save for a few weeks for that. There are so many on the market that I never know which work and which don't.

slowlygoingbonkers · 14/07/2012 14:15

Oh how long did it take to tell the difference?

OP posts:
SoleSource · 14/07/2012 14:18

Athena is the best I am afraid. About 3 days in. I've been using it for around ten days. My vagina is much, juch tighter. I'm going to use for six weeks slowly building up the intensity. It is totally worth it. Buy it. Psychologically it is worth millions of £.

Have you seen your GP?

SoleSource · 14/07/2012 14:22

My sex toy fits better as I haven't had sex for 4 years. When and if I do wow! ) One of the bsest investment I ever made, I am sure of it.

RightUpMyRue · 14/07/2012 14:28

Next time you go for a pee stop yourself mid flow. Those muscles are your pelvic floor.

Whenever you remember during the day hold them as tight as you can for a count of ten and then relax for ten then hold for ten etc etc until you're tired/bored of doing it.

This is free and will probably work just as well as any of the contraptions out there on the market as it's the same muscles being worked.

jadebond007 · 14/07/2012 14:44

From what I understand, you aren't supposed to be able to feel things very well a bit of the way in - since you can wear tampons and not notice them.

But if it feels different, you can tighten up with exercise.

SoleSource · 14/07/2012 14:46

I'm giving out advice from my own personal experiences.

I did have this and was just as good as the Athena, much cheaper but I lost it!! It fell out of my suitcase not my vagina on holiday... Grin

The ONLY difference between this machinre and the Athena is that this one is not cordless.

www.stressnomore.co.uk/pd/Neurotrac-Continence-Exerciser_9175.html

I have tried the free method and non electrical devices but it obvious that what works for me may not for you.

SoleSource · 14/07/2012 14:48

My terminology may be incorrect. But I am sure you get the gist.

slowlygoingbonkers · 14/07/2012 15:21

I've not seen the gp. Is there anything they can do?
I can't really feel him much at all. Just a tiny bit at the base when in missionary, can feel him more in doggyBlush
I think the only reason I orgasm is the angle of our pubic bonesConfused

I have read on here recently the Athena may be available from your GP to loan. I have no idea as I did buy mine. You could call the surgery and ask anon?

slowlygoingbonkers · 14/07/2012 15:42

Ooh might try that. ThanksSmile
Wouldn't mind if I had big babies, biggest one was 7lb 2 so not huge. Do have fast intense labours though (2 to 10 cm within 40 minutes and holding baby within a hour so maybe that contributedHmm

sole source please explain what the "urge setting" does? Shock

Did you have stitches op? I lost sensitivity for a while because of internal stitches.

slowlygoingbonkers · 14/07/2012 15:51

No, no stitches, small graze but salt water baths sorted that in a couple of days.
Plus youngest is 20 months now so don't think it would be that.

SoleSource · 14/07/2012 15:51

i'll just go get the manual. :)

SoleSource · 14/07/2012 15:58

MyinnergoddessisatLidl

Page 10

Urge Incontinence - is present when you know you have to go to the bathroom but are unable to make it on time. For instance some women involuntarily empty their bladder when they arrive home instead of being able to hold it until they reach the bathrooom. If you havee this kind of incontinence you should probably use the ATHENA set on 12.5 Hz.

SoleSource · 14/07/2012 15:59

I'm happy to answer any questions you may have as I have the manual right here :)

MyinnergoddessisatLidl · 14/07/2012 16:19

Ah, ok not what I was thinking at all.

Curiosity is calling me to buy one of these things! Blush

SoleSource · 14/07/2012 16:21

This product should not be used if a woman;

has a neurological deficiency that does not permit proper sensory perception or stimulation

is currently pregnant

has a cardiac pacemaker or a history of heart rate or conductive disturbance

has an anatomical vaginal structure that does not permit proper and complete placement of the trainer

has irregular menstrual cycles

has urinary or vaginal infections, localised lesions, or other undiagnosed symptoms

has a history or symptoms of urinary retention

slowlygoingbonkers · 14/07/2012 16:22

I think I was thinking same as you myinnergoddess Blush

OP posts:
SoleSource · 14/07/2012 16:23

Get one! :) No harm in that. You might be glad you did.

SophiaWinters · 14/07/2012 16:38

It's quite expensive isn't it, at £200 once you add VAT. How is it different to the cheaper ones, for example the TensCare itouch which is £55 on Amazon? I'm trying to decide what to buy, get what you pay for or try a cheaper one and hope it works as well...

MyinnergoddessisatLidl · 14/07/2012 16:41

What if you have a mirena?

And what does it really feel like?

...if you don't mind the personal questions?

RedBushedT · 14/07/2012 16:45

Please just go to your GP. They can refer you for physiotherapy & they will teach you how to do pelvic floor exercises in a better fashion.
After I had my daughter my pelvic floor was badly damaged. Four sessions of physio & I was fine. I still do them daily. As all women should.
If I hadn't responded to exercise, they were going to loan me an electrical 'device'.
