I have a lot of un-explored feelings re my Ex-H, who had an EA whilst my parents were terminally ll...
Sometimes songs come on the radio whilst I & my DS 4 & Dd8 are out & about, I'm not without emotion at all & often find myself tunelessly belting out a VERY 'now' emotionally song & letting rip IYSWIM>
Today I belted this out with them in the car... is that an OK thing to do?
TBH we often sing along in the car whatever the song...
just hope they aren't getting the ironyHmm
but
I am so in touch with this song right now...

Should you be singing a song? I don't understand I'm afraid.

Eh?

You belt 'em out if it makes you feel better! Couldn't load the movie but it looks like that one - Too Close?

Good song! (even if it's now the tune to the Microsoft ad)

Depends a bit on the song and a bit on whether you are crying or getting genuinely angry when singing along. THough most children (and many adults) are not that attuned to song lyrics - and a great many song lyrics are about sex and death anyway, there are some songs I wouldn't necessarily sing in front of my DS. And something that gets you seriously upset probably isn't a great idea, because your distress might be distressing for your kids.
