Oh the irony ...

After having had 10 hours sleep in 4 days, I stay home today to get some time to myself whilst STBXH and DS go out with STBX-in-laws (who have flown over for a few days to see DS).

Out of all the things I could do, I decide to stay home, relax and catch up on TV. So what do I do? I put on my recorded episode of this week's "Grey's Anatomy" only to be confronted by the same scenario(s) that led to the "STBX" prefixes above.

I am now sitting on my sofa sobbing my eyes out and yet, can't draw my eyes away from the TV.

So much for some "me-time" ... (!)

Aww Sad

It's probably cathartic though. Think of it as therapy.

I assume that what you're watching is anatomical albeit in glorious technicolour rather than b&w grey?

If so, you should be crying tears of laughter at the tedious predicatability of it all.

Look forward to your stbx becoming an x - and when you're packing up his dvds/videos switch the contents of 'When Sally shagged Harry' and similar xxx rated porn crap for The Sound of Music, Pollyanna, and other anodyne pap Grin

When is the great day, btw? Have you organised a party?

Aww. I cried the other day when in the house by myself and while it felt awful with no end in sight at the time, I felt much better afterward. No clue if this is normal or not Blush
