Met DH at work, I was nearly 25 he was 29
Were friends for about 6 months first.
Snogged and fumbled after a party just before Xmas, but did not have full sex.
(he was married, but no children)
Had a stressful time for about 6 weeks trying to not have an affair, lots of clandestine lunch meetings and hand wringing, and passing of love notes in the office 
(we are so old that email did not exist then) we had few more snogs and fumbles but still no proper sex. (lack of opportunity as we were trying hard not to have an affair, remember?)
One night shortly after new year he left a message on my answerphone at about 1am (I was in bed asleep and didn't hear the phone) to say that he had told his wife he loved me and he was leaving her.)
He turned up on my doorstep the following morning and never left. That was 21 years ago. We hadn't even had proper sex yet. 
We did have sex that night. 
Got engaged the very second his divorce came through, I was almost 26, he was 30. Found out we were PG with first baby a week after we got engaged. Got married when I was 20 weeks PG.
Had two more kids. He is now 50, I am 46.
