And my crime was getting flu and my DH did the night feed for our DS.

She then backed this up by Yelling down the phone to DH "Happy is bloody lucky to have married you. That's WOMENS work".

She's quite a volitile lady anyway but I feel so sad. I feel so ill and a bit PMTish.

DH said I should leave it ( he's used to her flying off the handle). WWYD?

Actually my DMIL taught my DH to cook and his DF to work the Hoover.

Now my DParents, though 10 years younger DMIL are probably Hmm at DH cooking them Christmas dinner, but they'd never say anything.

I love horrifying my STBXMIL, last time it was because I told my dd that her clitoris was called a clitoris when dd asked me what it was. MIL was outraged!! Hehe

I'm with your DH on this one! Its easier just to nod and smile. You know shes nuts, he knows shes nuts, just leave her to get on with it. Shes not going to change so why have an argument?
