to ask my neighbour for a play date? We both have DD around the same age and have only really said hello as we both got out of cars etc. But I think he's hot and as we both have little ones around the same age would seem a good, less stressful/forward way of seeing if we do actually get on?

Not sure whether this would be considered wrong/forward etc. I don't know if he is single but I have never seen him with anyone else.... but if its a play date with the girls then its not a date for us is it?

Has anyone got any experience in this area...

Brilliant idea, as long as you don't ask HIM for a play date!

ImperialBlether · 07/03/2012 21:11

How old are the children?

You could say your daughter keeps asking about the girl next door and would like her to come round to play. Easy, really! But be prepared for a lurking woman - this sounds too good to be true.

as long as you don't mind if he says no, it is not wrong at all, and might lead somewhere great.

my dd is 2 and his is about 3 I would imagine... My DD often asks about his DD when we do see them... he only has her every other weekend....

would you actually go round or wait until you next bump into each other?
