A quick explanation

I requested that my thread be deleted (again, d'oh) after a family member saw it and requested that I stop. Whilst its ok to talk about things anonymously, once someone close to the situation becomes involved its not appropriate to discuss those things in public. Admin just asked me to explain to y'all where the thread has gone. Whatever the rights and wrongs of any situation if it's no longer anonymous then it's not appropriate to continue.

Thanks for letting us know, Poshie. (Didn't contribute but did read the thread and wish you well.)

Thanks. It's a small world isn't it! You think you're posting anonymously on a random parenting forum and someone close to the situation sees it. What are the chances. I guess at least it shows that what I was describing is the reality of the situation otherwise it wouldn't have been recognised. I'll go and post about something mundane like potty training or something. :)

And try not to put "something" twice in one sentence.

Your situation would have been very identifiable though, Poshie, so I guess I can understand that.

Good luck, hope it all works out, and are all together and happy (and healthy!!)
