Picked up DD from school. Having ongoing pain problems, life very limited. she is currently stood over me screaming she is hungry. she isn't. I am physically not able for this. i just want to cry. Mentally unable, all my reserves of tough it out are gone. this is going on for months. I am sitting with my hands over my ears, I cannot take anymore.

How old is she?

Lovemygirls · 17/01/2012 16:36

What real life help do you have?

lolaflores · 17/01/2012 16:43

She is 4. DH home about the six mark. no one here. spoke to my mum this morning and explained how hard I am finding things. Oh dear, well, best of luck. she lives round the corner. The pain is the confounding factor. It just won't stop, I am taking the painkillers but it won't go. She has settled down now, but I feel so desperate.

You need to talk to your GP and demand (use your pain to help you) that you see a pan specialist.

Hi Lola do you work ? Poor you for going through this. And poor dd too because she does need to let off steam when she comes in from school, mine certainly do. Could she do some after school activity to break the week up ? Its my worse time too 4 til 6 .

ThatVikRinA22 · 17/01/2012 17:09

just asking - could she have been hungry? mine always came home from school ravenous. has she had a snack and some milk or something?

lolaflores · 17/01/2012 17:12

yep, ate like a horse. Drink of water cos I know sometimes she is thirsty rather than hungry. It is just that the pain is jamming all my usual calm signals. I think that is winding her up too. I am on a thread about pain management clinics which has been really insightful, the poster was an old hand at it and gave me the low down on how it all really works. I am frustrated and my last nerve has twanged. calmed down now, DH home and taken over the controls.
