Lots of love with DP but little trust. Meant DP listened to others too much and over analysed all innocent actions and words. Meant DP wouldn't listen or even want to talk when latest meddler made false accusations. Didnt think it through. Didnt see OW motives, though previously had and had understood all tricks ans seem through similar noising off. Not this time. Just crashed. So...is love ever enough?

I'm an old romantic, if 2 people love each other in the same respectful way then IMO Love conquers all.

solidgoldbrass · 07/01/2012 10:07

SIckandtired: But it doesn't. It doesn't conquer serious mental illness, or bankruptcy. Or death. If people love one another in a mutual way it can make bad times a little easier, but love is not invariably mutual and when it's not, that can make bad times a lot worse.

sickandtiredofitallagain · 07/01/2012 14:08

Well of course it doesn't conquer death ;/ Bankruptcy?? If my OH was bankrupt it wouldn't make me leave him, if he was seriously ill it wouldn't either.

Are you all eight? That's the only way any of this makes sense.
