I have turned 40, work full time and had a 2.5 year ols. Am married and live DP very much. Whats the problem? Me...... How can i put on sexy underwear if I feel ugly and fat.
Too tired to go to the gym, tried to diet but love food too much

Please help....prehaps i'm putting up barriers.
He loves me and wants me but I have trouble responding due to how I feel. Want to feel and look like a yummy mummy and be able to parade in front of him with gusto.

It used to be like that but since I have had my daughted cant seem to lose the weight or feel motivated.

Any suggestions or help would be great (have even thought of contacting Gok Wan

Get your hair done, have a manicure, and pedicure, drink a lot of wine and dim the lights.

Substitute 'going to the gym' and dieting with 'chilling out' and 'treating myself' as things you must do.
In other words, stop thinking of 'yummy mummy' stuff as chores impsed on you from outside/above. If you're knackered and don't want to go to the gym, forget it - do something you like.
That way your radiance will return much quicker, I guarantee it.
What I say might sound glib, but believe me, this approach works a treat!
Good luck, and Wine Wink

ANd by the way, you know you can lose weight quite quickly with a (short term) high protein, high fat diet? It works a treat, you should feel pretty good, and you can have lots of fun with yummy winter foods, Smile

Contact Gok Wan? Go for it!

In the meantime try to stuff yourself with really low fat, high fibre, healthy food. Swap all full fat to half, low or non-fat. Cut the size of your meat portions and have extra veg instead. Eat whole wheat when possible. Get rid of cakes, biscuits and chocolate in the house and stock up on fruit. Teach your child how to eat well and get those habits stuck for life.

Any toddler/mum fitness activities, dance, etc. that you could do together? Get out and and kick a ball around or push your toddler on the swings. Any activity at all is going to help.

And if you do lose a little weight, treat yourself to something as a reward, new perfume, haircut, pair of shoes. Try not to get disheartened. It will take time but stick with it and you will see results.

Have some rest and start by looking after yourself. Forget all the ymmy mummy. They all probably have a live in nanny/helper at home and don't do work+childcare+HW+ etc.... It's just not humanely possible to do.

If you are so tired, I woud also suggest investigating that? Are you doing too much, running on empty etc...?
For me eating too much has always been a sign I am very tired (so try to have some sort of sugar rush to overcome the tiredness). The problem is it doesn't take the tiredness away and you end up putting on weight.
