Online divorce services - any good?

Title says it all really - been separated over two years, just need to get round to sorting out the paperwork. Has anyone used a company like divorce-online.co.uk and if so, are they any good?

Thanks in advance
Saul

I just downloaded court papers and went to the court myself, didn't use an online service and only had a court fee to pay, if its all amicable to do, I would recommend it

My ex OH just got the papers needed (from the courts I think) and we filled them in ourselves.

It wasn't an acrimonious divorce and everything went through very smoothly - hardly cost anything at all :o

If there's agreement over everything and you both are aware of what you're agreeing to (pensions/child suport etc) then it's very easy to do.

I've got to do this too, I've been procrastinating for way too long...

What sort of split did you go for? I don't know what to suggest. We've got one child. Ex DH 100 miles away so visits for 1 night every 2 weeks. He pays 15% voluntary maintenance but won't show me a payslip so I have no idea if I'm being fleeced or not!!

Not that I think we are arguing over assets really. We're probably arguing about how we split the debts!!

i downloaded the forms too just filled them in and sent them off. Court was very quick in serving the petition to STBXH just waiting for monday so i can go to a court and fill inn the avvidavit to apply for a decree nisi

Thanks all, seems that the DIY route might be the way to go.

Ohsored - we have two kids, one 11, one 8. I live 150 miles away and have them every other weekend. Didn't really agree a percentage as such, but I pay the mortgage, utilities, phone/broadband, Sky, and insurances on their place plus I give her £350 a month in supermarket vouchers for food etc. Works out in total about 25% of my take home I guess; but at least I know that the kids have food on the table & somewhere warm and safe to live, and this way while my youngest is still in primary school STBXW can carry on working part time so she's home for them when they get in.

If you need the pages linking then let me know as i have them book marked from when i did mine recently. The forms can be filled in on the pc then just printed out which makes it much easier as 3 copies of the statement for children and 3 copies of the petition are needed

Shellylou - yes please :)
