What do you do?
Would it be fair to listen to a few of his songs which you hate and have listened to 100 times and then expect him to maybe consider a few of yours?
Or would it be fair to play all of yours and then when she asks to listen to a new adele album, you just keep finding other song to play?
Tosser
what do you do?

For us, it's a case of whoever is driving gets to choose what we listen to. But we share the driving so it works out fairly. If only one of you is driving, then I suppose you will have to negotiate.

Thank God our tastes are mainly similar, ie DH knows nothing about music and so is quite prepared to go along with whatever I or the DC choose Wink

OH and I have completely different musical tastes, although we do tolerate each other's choices.
(I like modern poppy stuff, R&B and Funky house, he likes 70's / 80's rocky type shit songs, and some Kings of Leon/Coldplay etc.)

We take it in turns on a long journey. I have my stuff on the way there, he has his on the way back.

no way on earth am I listening to bloody Elton John for hours and hours there AND back!!!
