Is it worth it if I really don't think I love him any more?

Are couples ever told not to bother trying? That's it's not worth it?

For financial reasons we wouldn't be able to start until April and I'm not sure we can really get through March.

My ex and I went to relate but we left it too late. He refused to go for a long time and by the time he agreed I had had enough and there was really no going back. You have to want it to work - if you don't love him and you really don't want to be with him then no-one can change that.

I think it all depends on the couple, what the problems are, if you BOTH want to go for counselling and what you BOTH want to achieve.

Sometimes, it's just not worth it. Nothing you do can change how you or your DH are feeling about the marriage.

BUT.........

If you think it will and can help, then why not try. Or you can both have individual counselling about your emotional state via your GP.
