Hi all,

Its been a week since the events of last weekend. DH and I are still together and things are back to normal.

I did not go to the GP because my DH felt i would be putting a label on myself based on something that was out of character. I respected that but we agreed that I would see a counselor so that i can try and understand what happened.

I had a session on Tuesday and it went ok. My counsellor and I talked about a lot of things and he told me that, as far as he was concerned, I had no anger issues but that i had overreacted in a situation where i felt i had no control. DH and I also had a joint session yesterday which went really well. I will catch up with the counselor in a months time.

I am ever so grateful to those who read my thread and gave me advice. I checked on the thread a few days ago and was shocked at some of the things that were said.I appreciate that conversations evolve and I respect peoples opinions. My counsellor has told me to look at my own experience as it is too easy to get worked up on other peoples opinions/views.

I am still on MN but have now name changed to a cheerful name!

Thank you.

Brilliant news!!

Just goes to show what those nasty 'just pregnant' hormones can do doesn't it!!!

Hopefully it will make some people think twice before deciding that someone who has a 'stupid moment' doesn't actually need a lifetimes worth of counselling or a divorce!!

Lovely update. Agree with chipping. People are far too quick on here to jump to conclusions and offer over-blown 'advice'.
