Just wondering about the practicalities of going to Relate? ie how do you fit it in when 24/365 one or other of you is either at work or looking after kids? Do you take time off work for it (a bit of a pain when there doesn't seem to be enough holiday time as it is with kids)?

When I've needed counseling I've taken time off work. Never had a counselor who worked outside office hours. I've been fortunate that my employers considered it akin to a hospital appointment, so I didn't need to use holiday.

I believe Relate have an online service that may be suitable for you if you have difficulty getting to a RL session.

As a counsellor I only work evenings and weekends as I have a full time job as well. I don't know whether Relate counsellors do: if you go to their website the info for your area may be there.
