I think I want a trial separation, but I have nowhere to go

I have posted before about relationship with husband. I would like to try a trial separation, but I live too far away from family, I couldn't afford to rent and pay my part of mortgage. He is in same situation, although he won't go- if I want to go I have to be the one to leave. We have a ds aged 16months.

What do you do in this situation? We still have joint bank account. And only one car. So I would have to stay in area local to my work.

Why do you feel you need a trial separation, i would only do this as a last resort- we started as a trial separation, but i think he has grown apart and not willing to talk to me again. Consider it very carefully and if you need to seperate I would do it for good, it only causes unnecessary heartache xx

Ros darling, I opened this thread with a dread it would be you. If you and S are going to separate then HE needs to go, you live right by work and have your gorgeous son to think of. It is HIS twuntish behaviour that has caused this not yours. Always here if you need a chat and let me know when you visit your parents again and we'll meet up with Indy and the gang.

You have a 16 month old son who should not have to leave his home because of his dad's behaviour.
Let your H go and stay with a friend and carry on paying his part of the mortgage.

your H needs to go, seek advice from a solicitor they give free 30 min sessions, i don't know all your history, but in the main it is the primary carer for the kids who get to stay in the home,

Why not try Relate rather than trial separation?
