Grandmothers favouring certain grandchildren

Hi, i'm writing this under a new thread as i think i did it wrong before! Does nyone feel their mum seems to favour other grandkids.....and since no-one replied the first time i'm starting to feel even more guilty!!!!!!!!11

you are right on all counts,,,,,,,my mum CONSTANTLY criticizes her to me, (but shes a good mum-my sis) and thinks she NEEDS her help, i just wish she could see it from my dd's point of view....but i do feel i must say something .in a few weeks when all the health stuff is over hopefully. Thatnks for all your advice

Definitely had this with mil, but in as much as she was only interested in dd1 and not the others. But she doesnt have any other grand children yet,and we know that when one of her other kids have them ours will be discarded. We have stopped her having contact with them now.

Mil. I was really close to my mum and she was the best Grandmother but she died 4 years ago when ds1 was 10 weeks old, and 2 years before ds2 was born. She got to know the girls though.
