You can draw up a deed of separation with agreements of how things will be split.

Do you have children?

who draws up the deed and is it legal ?

yes there are children but he wont move out and my friend doesnt see why she should plus she needs hinm to babysit and help.

She needs to see a solicitor and they will sort out the details of the separation, who will get what, how the kids will be provided for.
Probably best to do that soon whilst things are amicable - they might not always stay like that
Not sure about the living together part. I am recently seperated but was able to move out and stay with my parents
