I would imagine it's exactly what it says. Did you have an argument? What about?

I'm a bit like this, truth be told - I have a pretty bad temper sometimes, and I have to walk away before I say something I might regret. Cool off and reflect.

On the other hand, does he mean he needs to re-evaluate your relationship, do you think?
