Dealing with liars, how do you know?

Can you tell if your partner/DH lies to you? if so, how? I can tell with my DH because he'll do this:

me - "you heard from J?"
him - "nope! nope! not at all! nothing at all!"

If he was telling the truth he'd just say

"nah"

Can you tell when you're being lied to? any giveaway details?

Because you feel it in your tummy - it makes you feel ill. That's because you are trying to make yourself believe what he is saying but your common sense is rebelling. You might not pick it up straight away but after a while you will. The weight inside of you will become unbearable.

If you suspect he's lying then he probably is!

XP was a terrible liar. He would tell me something and a couple of weeks later the story would be different. I ended up keeping notes to track what he had said. It was so bad it got to the point that I didn't believe a word he said.

On the other hand, I don't DH would be capable of telling a lie if he tried.

Trust your instincts. They're normally right.
