Is there a statistical correlation between being a hugely posh bloke and having a speech impediment? I've always wondered this and hope it isn't an offensive question. I just think it every time Libby has some Bufty Tufty on and he has a stammer or other impediment to speech.
No offence to anyone intended.

someone must know the answer to this.
But I fear it is an offensive question....

Inbreeding

LOL LOL LOL
oh god that has to be offensive that I spat my tea out when I read that.
But what is it about that class with their Jonathan Woss 'R's. And their 'f' for 'th'?
I just need to know.

"Immature speech patterns" according to my DP, who is a speech therapist. Not sure if there's any reason why it should affect the terminally posh more than anyone else, but apparently it's a symptom of having failed to grow up, in a small way.

I feel great now - I have a stutter and now realise that it is because I haven't grown up...

I have a feeling this doesn't apply to stutters, from what I remember of the conversation. I will check.

Really? I can't say 'th', but I put it down to my dad being from Birmingham - I literally can't distinguish 'th' and 'f' aurally. Can I claim it's very posh?
