Anyone else disappointed about the new 5 Live breakfast presenters?

Gutted to read Naga Munchetty is taking over 5live breakfast show. That's my morning walk ruined. Nothing against her personally but she's one of my least favourite radio presenters ever because she comes across as either fake or angry but either way she's not pleasant to listen to. No idea why the bbc love her so much. The current presenters have a good rapport and are funny to listen to, don't know why they have to change

I see Tony Livesey has gone, too much involvement with David Sullivan. I liked him as a presenter but I suspect we have not heard the end of the allegations against Sullivan so it is not unexpected.

I honestly can’t fathom how Naga ever got employed. She’s apalling. Unlistenable!

I really like TL, he was own of the voices of COVID for me

I thought he was a decent chap but the 80s/90s were a different world, who knows what the truth is

He got moved from the 4pm slot for saying something derogatory about Clare McDonnel (? sp) didnt he?

Is there anyone who hasn't ever said something about a work colleague that they wouldn't want to have accidentally emailed to them?

Maybe not verbally (we all need to vent) but it is usually drilled in that you don't say anything in a work email about anyone that you wouldn't want them to see. Far too easy for them to be forwarded or copied in by mistake. Or pick the wrong Claire out of an an auto-fill list.

I love Rachel and Rick in the mornings so genuinely sad to see them go - Rachel has teenagers the same age as mine so I find her particularly relatable and Rick works well with her and had made me genuinely laugh out loud on occasion.

I'll reserve judgement on Naga as I'm not a fan of her current show but breakfast is a different programme so who knows.
