New series of Uncanny

Just listened to the first episode. Not going to say much about it because I doubt many have had a chance to listen to it yet. I was really disappointed with it though. What do any of you think. I was really looking forward to it. I hope it improves.

Reviving this thread for the new series. Really sad and upsetting first episode. I hope the nuns were prosecuted but I bet nothing was done. Those poor children.

Is that the Uncanny Post-mortem one? I got excited when I saw there was a new episode on Sounds, then was immediately disappointed when I realised it was a follow up to a TV episode that I can’t watch because I’m not in the UK 😭

MrsFumble. Yes it’s the new post mortem one. I can’t watch it either as don’t have. TV licence so I’m just listening to the bbc sounds programme. Can you get BBC sounds where you are? It’s not as fun as watching on tv but I’m still enjoying it.

Do you need to watch it to enjoy (I know that sounds like a strange word for this programme) or is the podcast by itself enough?

It’s available on the BBC Select channel that you can purchase via Prime. I might do so when all the episodes are up.

I should say that I’m in Canada and I don’t know it that channel is available via Prime everywhere.

Andylion well I’d rather watch the tv prog as well as listen to the podcast, but I’m still enjoying the podcast on its own.
