We don't all agree on all points, although we do mostly try to be civil about it. Most of us are posting tongue in cheek a lot of the time, so don't worry about revealing that you think it's great that Shula's ministering to the heathen of the North-East, or other unusual views.

Well, here we are. I was strongly tempted to go for the dog's dinner, dog/human bullies etc suggestions for the title, but Mere asked if we could not have anything graphic in the thread title, so I've held back. In a couple of weeks when this thead is nearing its end the attack may all be a distant memory, anyway.

Goodness knows what's in store for us now. Kenton seems likely to have PTSD, not surprisingly. Surely we must soon find out why HARRY talks so. Unconvincingly. Alice! Hello. CHRIS. CHRIS. etc, and also whether he is (as many of us suspect) addicted to opiates and/or up to no good. Too much to hope why nobody in Ambridge horsey circles had ever heard of him until recent weeks.

Yes, somewhere like that is where they met. Then Vince found out how rich Elizabeth is, and IMO set her up to go on a cancelled date, so he could be there in the venue to "rescue" her.

10 minutes. 10 whole minutes I spent cogitating on Elizabeth’s wealth and spending power, referencing £100 valuation of dress returned via PO (and Susan’s ) and the instant cheque for Lily and Russ’s bailiffs. And the fact her life going forward is undoubtedly completely sorted.

It’s not Elizabeth’s money that Vince finds attractive, he’s got plenty of his own. It’s her status that he wants a piece of.

David’s pouting over Vince started long before his awful behaviour towards Ben, even before Elizabeth started seeing him, though he dialled it up to 11 then. I don’t know why it rankles me so, because Vince has always been a bit of a shit. Maybe it’s just the way David’s lines are written or delivered, but it always makes me roll my eyes, then I have to remind myself that he is justified in not liking or trusting him.

I think we are working towards Jolene and Kenton (both in their late seventies, certainly so in Kenton's case and almost certainly so in Jolene's because she was contemporary with Eddie and he is now over seventy) realising they no longer want to run The Bull, and Fallon and Harrison taking over.
