Just heard the case mentioned on World Service headlines. If you google news you can find info. I haven't linked in case of spoilers.

Depends on which app you are using to play the podcast I think. I have Castbox. There is a settings button at the top right hand (a bit like some YouTube videos) and you can choose to speed up or slow down there.

Just finished this podcast and wondered if there were any more updates after the arrest? So bizzare, especially the cardigan. How did that not raise more questions?

It's all stuck in legal wrangling I think. Chris Dawson's side are claiming the popularity of the podcast means he'll never be able to get a fair trial plus some accusations against the Teacher's Pet journalist creator. The whole thing beggars belief doesn't it. I know it was the 80s and techniques were less advanced, but it does seem like so many basic questions were just forgotten. Many stories follow a similar pattern, it gets quite frustrating. I have no doubt Lyn didn't just go off and Chris's actions with Joanne after says it all. I am glad that because of the podcast, there were investigations in to the conduct of teachers at the schools mentioned in the podcast, so that's one thing to come out from it.
