Started last night. Link to i player here. Well up to standard, I thought. My daughter and I went to a recording a few weeks ago and some of what we heard (the opening sketch, for example) was in ep 1. More good stuff to come!

Thanks Che, I didn't know about the tour. I've now booked my tickets!Grin Can't believe it's not sold out already.

Last night's episode was very clever and very funny.

Gasp0deTheW0nderD0g · 09/02/2018 11:50

It was glorious, wasn't it! Entire series available on i player today and tomorrow, I think, and then the earliest one will drop off.

whispers I went to that recording (last episode) and it was fabulous live!

Gasp0deTheW0nderD0g · 09/02/2018 13:53

@Cheguevarahamster, that must have been great! The sketches recorded the night we went were scattered through several episodes.

Tickets for the tour in Brighton (May 17th) are on sale today - my friend & I are going. Anyone else?

RomanMum · 23/02/2018 22:17

Going to Dorking!

cariadlet · 24/02/2018 18:44

Just booked my tickets for Hastings. Very excited. I hadn't realized he was touring so thanks Che.

I'm dragging dp and dd along with me. They've never listened to him and have no idea who he is. I'll be devastated if they don't like him.

TeaAndCake · 25/02/2018 12:36

There was uproar on Twitter over JF's tour not having any dates planned for the north (he just couldn't
find a venue with available dates to fit).

It's been addressed and we're going to see him in Preston on the 21st of May. Can't wait!

Knackerelli · 03/03/2018 14:50

My friends and I are seeing him in Birmingham on May 30th. So excited!

Iwantacampervan · 18/05/2018 06:41

We went to see the show in Brighton last night - it was very good.

Iwantacampervan · 18/05/2018 06:44

Just a note for anyone going to the tour it was due to finish 9.50pm (start 7.30pm) but we were out at 10.20pm - it was the first night yesterday so they may change some of the sketches.

Cheguevarahamster · 18/05/2018 06:45

I hear it went on for 3 hours! Sounds great!!

theboud · 18/05/2018 06:50

So excited about this! We’re going to Birmingham to see it in a couple of weeks. I’m quite happy for it to over-run by half an hour!

cariadlet · 21/05/2018 00:12

Went to see him in Hastings tonight. Loved it. It was great that it included the actors from the Souvenir Programme and to see lots of favourite characters. My only disappointment was that a lot of the material wasn't new. The repeats were generally sketches that I really like, but I've listened to them so many times already and I'd expected to see a lot more new stuff.

I went with DP and a friend. Neither of them had ever listened to the Souvenir Programme or Cabin Pressure. They thought some of the sketches were funny, but were totally confused by others. They didn't really know what to make of it. It was funny watching them trying to find the right words to describe it afterwards.

We went last night (York) and all of us loved it. Yes, not much new, but fab choice of sketches and lots of in-jokes. Didn't get out til ten past ten and then had an hour's drive home so today will be fun....

MWestie · 08/06/2018 21:00

Hope it's okay to join in the general JF appreciation. Went to his show in Leamington Spa last night and it was - of course - absolutely brilliant!

Gasp0deTheW0nderD0g · 11/06/2018 13:42

You lucky thing, @MWestie!

Booked for Richmond. Carefully put 10th June in my diary. Went to print off tickets on the 9th.

The show was on the 3rd.

FML.

Oh dear, @Bibesia! How disappointing.

Edinburgh was brilliant. !!!

AuntyElle · 19/06/2018 22:08

I love him, he was just on Teenage Diaries on R4, but thanks to Rufus Hound being an utter self-promoting arse, it wasn’t that amazing.

Raglansleeve · 21/06/2018 09:43

Lass - we were at Edinburgh show too - 'twas fab. I enjoyed all of it, but Arthur turning the tables on Patsy Straightwoman was lovely, and the Kirates nearly had me peeing myself........... Thought the last sketch was very clever and the punchline - pure genius!

LassWiADelicateAir · 21/06/2018 20:03

Those were fab. I also loved the "Missed Connections" sketch with the line "me, tending my croft in Orkney"

LassWiADelicateAir · 21/06/2018 20:05

I also love that there is no swearing, no double entendres, no stereotyping. It is just really clever writing.
