Try Home Front. I love it and find it interesting and moving. Do try it.

I loved the previous series of Home Front - tremendously subtle and slow burning. And so well put together I'm rather hoping the editor applies for the vacant position on The Archers.

Was a bit discombobulated by the change of setting for the new series and haven't managed to listen often enough to settle into it.

On a less positive note - is it dreadful of me to have begun to wish Maxine Peake was not in everything? Or at least everything considered notably worthy by the BBC.
