I hate them wasting money on all the minor roles (doctors etc) but I do think this was a necessary one for once!

Another good episode. The bad episodes tend to involve the liz/Roy affair fallout (surprisingly little said though) and the road/Brookfield saga.

I don't listen to the archers to be sitting on the edge of my seat waiting for the next exciting instalment! If they want to make it more tv soap then fine but I'm not going to waste 15 mins of my evening when I want to wind down.

Knob will get Jess sectioned - he is still married to her so is her next of kin and is legally able to do so. He will get hold of little whatshisname and will foist him upon upon Hellin, thereby swerving her mild protestations regarding her providing a sibling for Henry.

Carol will carry on manipulating entire dynasties of Ambridge folk using only the medium of herbal tea.

I assume Brookfield sale will fall through before then and he will be all smug and 'see what I did there?' And everyone will be roaring at him for wasting their time on such a shitty storyline.

I will be interested to hear what he has to say as I want to know if he 'gets it'.

All on the go at once with threads unravelling all over the place. There isn't the time to keep on top of the many pkots at the pace they should unfold so tjings get left dangling implausibly whilst others move forwards to fast

I think SOC is big enough and ugly enough to cope with a fred title on mn, tribeca. Afterall he's got the balls to fuck up 'shakeup' the longest running radio show, and you never know if he does read the fred he might welcome some listener feedback. It's an opportunity for him really.

I agree minklundy. But it's not just the pace, it's the characters too. I don't think Adam would just callously go off and leave Brine again to do the lambing with no notice. They'd been getting on much better previously. it seemed out of character to me. Plus why would Jenny suddenly be so interested in Carol? Its just silly and irritating. And Jill's always been a pita but she sounded totally soppy this eve.
