I often hear at least part of it, Zero. I don't like Radio 4's offering for Saturday mornings so I usually have R3 on from quite early. I can't claim that I have acted on any of their recommendations, though, at least not for a good 25 years!

We also have CD Review on Saturday mornings (DH's choice). But we don't like some other R3 programmes which have been dumbed down with witless convos involving "Brian from Southend" where listener whitters on about how he heard Barbirolli conduct this in 1966 and it has always been a favourite of his wife ...

There's far too much talking on Radio 3 nowadays. I loved it in the 80s when there was hardly any.

Radio 4 Extra has some good vintage radio such as Round The Horne, Hancock's Half Hour and Steptoe & Son. Take It From Here particularly stands the test of time.

R3 R1 and World Service (in the main) are stations I turn off, but do listen to plenty from R4, R4 Extra, Five Live, 6 Music and R2 (though pi$$ed annoyed about their night owl changes... Used to record R4 18+ hours a day on one of my PCs but since moving and using iMacs more, have not unpacked the DAB radio or the Windows PC so have not been recording for a while...

Tend to listen to Up All Night 0100 to 0300 and then R2. Music wise, listen to dozens of stations but often various bits from *> SomaFM (San Francisco) "Wait, Wait, Don't Tell Me" "As It Happens" PRI's "The World" WRN (World Radio Network)

I listen to the radio loads, but tend to dip in and out if the Archers. Haven't listened to it for ages.
