In terms of nice people, it used to be Saint Nigel :( What a lovely man if a bit of an upper class twit
His mantle has been taken on by Oliver. Another nice chap.

I quite like Alice and Chris at the moment.

And I'd give Ed one....

Mrs A always managed to be kind and never irritating.

Nelson Gabriel - that voice! He was aptly named after the Angel Gabriel, only explanation for his having a soft spot for Lizzie. The show where he was Noel Coward to Linda Snell's Joyce Grenfell is a classic.

I was just saying to DH today that Alice Aldridge and Chris Carter are bizarrely nice people, when you consider their appalling parents. There they were, popping down to support old Mr Horrobin after Ivy died.

I do have a lot of sympathy for the awful Jenny, though. Awful, but understandably so. But Brian is the best.

Jackie Woodstock was my favourite.

Another fan of Lilian here. Dahhhhhling, pass the fags and pour me a gin. Matt is not worthy of her. He may be a bad boy but he is a very dull bad boy! And she helped the exceedingly broke and endlessly bitter Tony. Sigh Wish I lived in Ambridge...

Oh and I want Tamsin Greig's voice. Love it.

Blimey we're going back a bit to Walter Gabriel!! I quite liked his slimeball son Nelson (how's that for a good memory!) and his pre Kenton wine bar plus the non speaking helper (I don't mind Kenton actually and I'm pleased he's 'tucked up' with J'lene )

I agree about Lilian though her lifestyle is bound to catch up with her unless the SW's are all smoking alkies!! They probably are!

I agree with vixsatis.
Apart from Vickoi who started off as terrible but has definitely improved now a good addition to Ambridge.

Another vote for Jim here - I'd quite like hin as a relative (I think I am in need of intelligent conversation!).
