Just heard this announced on R4 - starts next month, how exciting.

Last night's episode was fairly boring. Anyone want to wager that Anna and Rosa will be characters in ArchersLite?

Don't follow the link in the OP!!!!!! It has an appalling photo of some crusty farmer type gurning in a field of wheat pretenting to be Brian Aldridge. Obviously some hideous April Fools Day joke as NOBODY would have an illicit affair with this person whereas Brian managed to get the (now conveniently dead) Siobahn up the duff. (Apologies to the RL bloke in the field, but sorry, I wouldnt...)

"An omnibus will air on Fridays and be repeated twice on Sundays". Now that is an impressive way to squeeze the maximum air time from a programme.

After discovering that the contestants on Round Britain Quiz were fed the answers in advance I felt it sort of lost the point. Plus it's very dull.

If ArchersLite hoovers up all the younger characters and keeps them off the main programme I'll be all for it. Apart from Jamie. His sulky, pained portrayal of 'wronged' adolescent is spot on. I almost feel sorry for Kathy.
