Hellin is going to have a major wobbly - remember that 'nothing I do ever turns out right'? Not only did the birth not go perfectly but the baby is forever going to be associated with Nigel's death.

How can this happen? Idiocy is what it looks like to me. Idiot David suggesting climbing around on the roof in the dark, idiot Nigel following his BiL and getting too overconfident in a dangerous situation. Both of them paid for it horribly. Poor Elizabeth who told them not to do it in the dark. (Yes I know it's not real, DH reminds me frequently.)
